Students have been investigating, producing and evaluating food. Students have worked safely and hygienically with a range of tools and equipment. Students have been managing ingredients and processes in a recipe to produce their own design of a food product.
Students designed and produced their own muffin recipe for the local Muffin Break Cafe challenge. Students have gained an understanding of working with yeast and cereal grains, where they have designed and produced cous cous salad, fried rice, wholemeal and multigrain bread and pizza.
